Question 1

How much does a Starlink installation cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the mount type, how high the dish sits, the cable run, your power setup and any extras like mesh Wi-Fi. We don't publish one-size-fits-all prices because two houses on the same street can need very different work. Send in the quote form and we reply with a personalized, itemized quote — travel within the first 50 km of our operating base is included, longer trips add a travel charge, and 13% Ontario HST is shown on your quote.

Question 2

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We install Starlink across Ontario for homes, cottages, businesses and vehicles. Trips within the first 50 km of our operating base include travel; beyond that a round-trip travel charge applies and appears on your quote before you commit to anything.

Question 3

Do I have to mount the dish on my roof?

Accepted Answer

No. We install on roof peaks, eaves, walls and ground poles. A clear view of the sky matters more than height — if a wall or pole mount sees open sky, it can outperform a roof spot blocked by trees or chimneys. We survey your property before recommending a mounting location.

Question 4

What if trees are blocking the sky?

Accepted Answer

Trees are the most common problem we see on rural and cottage properties. During the obstruction survey we map where the dish can see open sky, then recommend a pole mount, higher mounting point or a different side of the building to clear the tree line.

Question 5

Will the installation damage my roof or cause leaks?

Accepted Answer

Mounts are sealed and cables enter through weatherproof cable entry, so water stays outside. Cables are routed and fastened tidily along the building. If your roof isn't suitable for a mount, we'll recommend a wall or pole mount instead rather than risk it.

Question 6

Do I need to own my Starlink kit already?

Accepted Answer

Either way works. The quote form asks whether you already own the dish and router so we can plan around it — if you don't have one yet, we'll schedule the installation to line up with your kit arriving.

Question 7

How do you mount Starlink on RVs and trucks so it survives driving?

Accepted Answer

Vehicles get flush and low-profile mounts that sit close to the roof and hold up to highway speeds, plus 12V power solutions so the dish runs off the vehicle's electrical system instead of an inverter. If your truck, fleet or lease terms don't allow drilling, mention it in the quote form and we'll propose mount options that fit.

Question 8

Do you install for businesses, farms and job sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. That includes multi-dish and failover setups so a connectivity gap doesn't stop work, network and PoE integration into your existing equipment, and installs at job sites and remote facilities with no other internet option. Ongoing support plans are available after the install.

Question 9

Do you install on fleets, and is there a volume discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fleet jobs are quoted per vehicle with travel shared across the job rather than charged per truck, and volume discounts may apply depending on the number of vehicles. The per-vehicle pricing and any discount are shown on your quote so you can see exactly what each unit costs.

Question 10

How does the quote process work?

Accepted Answer

Fill in the two-step quote form — photos of your mounting spot help but aren't required. Your request is reviewed by the owner, who prepares an itemized quote with labour, materials, travel and HST. You receive the formal quote by email, and only after you approve it do we schedule the installation. You'll never get an automatic price without a person looking at your job.
